(I think TUMBLR timed out and just posted half my post last night…but here is the original)

I’m not sure. Maybe as I am getting older, I am starting to enjoy some of the small things about blading that I used to really love as a kid or maybe I’m just being impressed again.

Putting together this set-up was a return to a ritual, once practiced and perfected, but somehow pushed aside along the years as if taking care of my stuff had somehow gone out of style. I stripped down my frames, cleaned them, wiped down my axles, and yes…I even degreased my old bearings. I’m a grommet at heart. Sue me.

Huge appreciation goes out to Jon Julio for making one of the sickest, well designed and just all around badass pair of blades I’ve put on in years. Thanks Boss. You are tits.

Even if you don’t ride Valo (valo4life) support the brand of your choice and be loyal.
